Job description:
The Business Analyst is responsible for requirements development and requirements management. Specifically, the Business Analyst elicits, analyzes, validates and documents business, organizational and/or operational requirements. Solutions are not predetermined by the Business Analyst, but are driven solely by the requirements of the business. Solutions often include a systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement or organizational change.

• Primary Skills/Qualifications:
Solid understanding of insurance industry (auto & Home Insurance specific to US is a must)
• Strong background in creating functional requirements and functional specifications at the level necessary to extend or customize existing products and to build new solutions.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of general networking technologies, database, and applications development concepts.
• Selected candidate must be capable of working independently as well as in a team/group environment.
• Knowledge of IT process improvement and various IT BA standards.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Windows based applications and internet usage.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical, presentation and reporting skills.
• Must be able to perform work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks and demands simultaneously.
• Must be able to work independently in a time critical environment and as part of a team on special and ongoing projects.
• Must be flexible to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.

Assistant Manager –Accounts Payable

The position will be responsible for
1) Maintenance of Accounts Payable record of the organization.
2) Accounts Payable reporting.
3) Accounting of Invoice and Vendor Recos.
4) Intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
5) Bank Payment and reconciliations.
6) HR & Employee related exp and processing.
7) Salary payouts and F&F payouts
8) Tax compliance and payouts

Key Deliverables:

• Accounting of Vendor Invoices in books of accounts on day to day basis.
• Reporting of Payables as per Schedule III requirement.
• Recording vendor invoices and provisions as per accounting policy.
• Ensuring monthly AP closure as per accounting policy.
• Getting the audit cleared from statutory auditors as per the required time schedule:
• Work on automaton of business processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy of accounts.
• Work with internal audits, and ensure completion of Audits.
• Work on TDS, GST payments and other tax payments along with reconciliation as per requirements.
• Preparation of creditors and advances records as per Audit requirements.
• Providing cash flow requirements relating to payments.
• Handling all employee related payouts and tax deductions.

Required Competencies:

• Relevant experience in managing accounting operations.
• Exposure to the ERP (SAP/Oracle)
• Knowledge of Indian GAAP/ IFRS/ Income tax and Local tax laws.
